Talk, Touch, and Listen™

Therapeutic Cultural Routines to Build Family Relationships

Father and daughter building routines together and growing closer

About the Model

Talk, Touch & Listen™ promotes rich interaction during hair combing, mealtime, bath time, and Storytime, everyday routines that strengthen children’s development and well-being. The model centers three parenting behaviors: radical listening, gentle physical touch, and lively, call-and-response musical-style talk between parents and their children.

How Families Learn Together

Groups are co-facilitated by agency partners and a community parent certified as a TT&L™ Level I trainer. Experiential learning methods make abstract topics concrete and engaging in a safe, supportive environment where experimentation, vulnerability, and curiosity are encouraged.
